Hi everyone!
Yes, yes, yes! I am back and it is permanent 
It’s been about, oh, 8 MONTHS since my last blog?! I can’t believe I haven’t updated you guys since February of this year.
Let me start of by saying that weddings are NUTS and if you’re one of those over-the-top, I’ve-always-dreamt-of-my-wedding, now-I’m-broke type of gals… then you are exactly like me! ha ha ha MAN these past couple of months have been crazy. There’s a few thing’s I want to talk about:
#1. In April of this year, I got into a weight loss craze.. I lost 50 pounds in 3 months, then gained 25 of those pounds back lol! Loosing weight for a wedding should not be your goal… your goal for weight loss should be a healthy life style, which is my goal now. I have officially lost 2 pounds, with the help of my new wii fit and my membership at 24 hour fitness! I started 4 days ago and I hope I stick to it. I have my first official dress hunting day on the 18th of December (in 3 weeks) and I hope to loose some inches on the waist by then. Which brings me to my next point…
#2 My dress! Last I blogged I had gone to David’s Bridal (EW!) to look for my dream dress, which turned out to be a big failure and disappointment. I have since then gone to 1 other place. That would be “Alfred Angelos”, where I found an AMAZING dress for WAY less than 1000 (which was my dress budget).. way less. I put down a deposit for it but later went dress shopping with my future sis-in-law for her wedding gown… and fell in love with a bunch of other dresses. Which is when I realized that I need to hit the shops again until I am completely happy with my pick. I know, after I decide on my dress, I won’t go to any of these places again! I don’t have time!!! Which brings me to my next point…
#3 Our wedding date has officially (and finally) been set! After much deliberation and many late night talks, we decided that a wedding would be perfect in mid-late July… right in the center of the big, beautiful 2011 summer! Once we had that in mind, we started looking around for cool venues. We knew we couldn’t afford anything $15,000+ SO we set our budget at $10,000. One day while browsing a store catalog I found and advertisement for a venue that did Quinceñeras (like sweet sixteen) and I decided to give them a call. Turns out they had different locations and was VERY accomodating to our budget! We signed the contract about 3 days later and set the date. JULY 30th, 2011!!! 
#4 Our venue is located in the beautiful city of Arcadia, CA. It is called “Santa Anita Inn & Resort” and it is absolutely beautiful and perfect. We’ll be having BOTH our ceremony and reception there. On my next blog, I’ll post up some pics of the place I love it!
