I am very new to world of weddings. I got engaged on Christmas Eve 2010. I am 31 and my finance is 34 so we decided we really did not need or want a long engagement. I jumped right into the planning process… with the help of being snowed in for 3 days due to a lovely post- Christmas blizzard that slammed the East Coast. The snow and the Internet taught me a few things about myself. I am not a super fancy wedding person. No puffy gowns, no crowns, no 12 bridesmaids for me. Lets have a wedding that is simple but elegant. Can this all be done in just 5 months? We shall see… I have 7 appointments to tour venues this week.
